Sentiment index skyrocketed

Judging from the previous time where we registered such sharp upward surge of the sentiment index, the Nikkei 225 sank. On reference to that matter, both bourses may be poised for a downward spiral in days to come with 20th September drawing near. We had actually withdrawn from our previous position based on the fact that the upwswing potential for that particular warrant that we had was not moving at a pace we had in mind. Nevertheless, we were right that the HSI would retrace and it did. Although the exit was badly timed on that day itself, we still made a diminutive gain of 8% in which we lost a potential yield of at least another 20%.
We will be looking for entries opportunities to go short for these 2 indices. However, it will be advisable to be more cautious as to see how the market will be moving in the next few days, and of course the perceived notion of the outcome of the next Fed meeting. On the condition that we were to be wrong on our prognosis, we will take loss at 20% and stay on the sidelines for a while.
